City Dad's flies are amazing. Amazingly real even. Looked like the bugs I saw up in golden trout country.
I requested a few extras for when I do get back up to altitude. Thanks again CD, will repay with fish porn as usual.

Work just fine down here locally as well. This hook thickness does fine on my 3wt.
Let them bite, turn their heads and then just lift the rod tip and they're on! They don't let go.

I can personally vouch for the quality and effectiveness of City Dad's flies. I've caught everything from Lake Balboa Tilapia to Pyramid Lake Stripers and legal surf Halibut with them. At first, I was hesitant to use them, but after he threatened to sick Bigfoot on Wingnut Pug if I don't take them... I had no choice, and I'm sure glad I did! :LOL:

I still have yet to get out there and use the flies CD gave me for the surf.
My 8wt is pretty tough to work with. I gotta find a nice calm spot before I'll be happy throwing flies in the surf! That's not easy at all :LOL:
