I went to a spot in south of Cali for some fishing.
Mostly cloudy with some wind and clear water.

These are all 8 species of fish caught at the spot in a day.
I guess that's my pb. :D

Never caught this fish before. Anyone know the name?

Lots of stingrays.

Leopard sharks pull so hard. Once I spent over 20mins and lost it at my feet.
These are smaller ones.

And also lots of croakers fresh and plumpy.

These dogfishes are awsome to catch. They jump like trouts and run like a yellowtail.

Dogfish. Ready to jump and bite my finger off.

Fat croaker.

And guitarfish.

Fatter croaker.

Most of them are on drooper rig baited with squid and cut mackarel.
Line used was 15lb mono for fish and 50lb braided for leopard sharks.

Target area: patches of kelp paddy deeper than the surrounding area and throw it as far as possible.

* Pictures are not in the order they were caught.

you have ever right not to say the location of your but at least disclose what tackle/bait you used so that is does comply as a "Report" and others can benefit from it.

Nice to see some leos get pulled out i really need to fish them hard this year thanks for the pics and report. That is a nice spot you found if you don't want it to get burned keep it on the DL let people start reconing for them self.

Thanks a lot guys. :D

I updated the post to include some info.

I normally disclose every bit about the location except for the halibuts and sharks as they seem to be in great decline in numbers and sizes recent years.
I hope you guys would understand it.

location isn't as important as what you used:Big Grin:, thanks for that info....as mentioned above keep your location a secret if you want it to thrive.
