I didnt personally fish aboard the Patriot today, but recieved an email and thought I would pass it on. It said on the 3/4 day they were catching Large Bonito in the 15lbs range, and they would of caught more but people werent prepared for them. They said they found large schools of them but due to a wierd wind it kept pushing them. Also they caught 1 yellowtail... Hopefully the yellowtail are coming and sticking around for a while.... Sorry I dont have much info but thought I would share what I heard

I'm waiting for the Patriot to go WFO on the Spanish Mackerels. One of my favorites.

They are really fun to catch. You use strips of squid (tiny) cause their mouths are tiny. Or you can use Guld camo worms. Use 2 hooks cause when you hit a school of them and they are feeding, you can easily get multiple hookups.
