New to this website but have been living and fishing on the harbor for a few years now. Weather out was perfect so decided to launch the kayak. Nailed 5 spotties all around the piers on Balboa Island. Here is a pic of one. Using 3" big hammer calico hunter with white jig head. Perfect little 2 hours on the water. This is my 1st post so I hope it works..

Other than that branch you saw me bring in LOL....i got a pancake hali...that was it.

Great job! Thanks for the heads up. Chovies and dinos were hot that day for sure. Welcome aboard. I think I saw you out there as well. I was on a red and white boat with bass seats fore and aft.
