I’m glad I kept those 2 for one coupons from subway…looks like they are not the only ones who honor other peoples coupons…

Hopefully ur running a baitcaster, if so, gently run your index finger in front of the level wind, very very lightly during the retrieve, this will help your lure sensitivity and you'll be able to sense a TON of other things you did not feel b4 with your 1st joint on the forefinger.

Most importantly, the subtle "batting" that many of the fish have been doing lately, that is what U want to sense and drive hard on !

And I mean DRIVE HARD !
Let 'em feel that steel !

Even more importantly, it's my beleif that this quickens your response time...in other words you set the hook quicker.

This may be a very subtle increase in response time (100 nano seconds or so) but any small increase in your advantage over the fish is what you need.

This method requires that you palm the reel !

Once the fish return to a more aggressive bite pattern this may not be 100% necessary but I do it all the time.

Yeah, it was windy, glad ya got some interest out there....u'll get 'em next outing !
