5/3 Butty Fishing

Went to a pier south of Cali.
Weather was cloudy in the morning and sunny in the afternoon.
In the morning caught a few macks big enough for baits for bigger fish. :D
There weren't many of them. Mostly bite sizes with a few 20 inchers moving in and out fast.
Moved on to another spot.
There, sunny afternoon brought up some butties from hell.
Before even settled down, ended up with 7 bites, 5 lost, 2 small, all released without moving not more than 5 steps. :D
They were biting fiercely. Pulling the bait like a bull and swimimg like lightning.
Then all went away. Some say, all that left was only a dead bird floating on the water.

Good job on the fish. Too bad about the hali with the scar, also, it looks like it's getting tail rot even without splits in the fin :Sad:
