Discovered the lake driving home from work one day. I see they plant trout and catfish at the lake by the DFG. Anyone ever have any luck with bass fishing the lakes? Seem it could have some potential. Unless its just like the other park lakes. Once the fish go in they don't ever come out.

I agree, but I have caught a couple there in the past... i'm sure they are very smart and have seen everything thrown at them...

i would recommend just heading to Santa Fe, Pudd, or Legg...

Definitely tech in terms of achieving success on artificial s ''finding'' the fish is most difficult at peck , but then again time, place, color, clarity ,selection Hmm,slippery rocks un even ground very slope y vagrancy just get out and fish fish HARD!!!!!:Big Grin:

i went there several times, natha, tried everything. It is actually a really big lake! If you see it all, also i would reccomend bringing your pistola, there is some weirdos that are there. Also, i think this lake with a infalteable boat will be good!

i had a guy sit behind me and he just began talking to me, then a dog came sniffing around, then he said he wanted to eat it. I was like what the truck, after that ****, it's .357 in my tackle.

like my primo said, that lake is tough to fish. i've fished that lake easily over a dozen times and only caught one tiny bass, but i keep going back for the challenge.

good luck out there 420, and keep on the move. the low water level created many potential hiding spots for the fish.
