went out on the 1/2 day boat on saturday. we picked up some live bait and while at the barge i threw some jigs and hooked a tom cod.
it was a long ride to the spot which we shared with the sea angler out on 22nd street.
set up with 2 hooks and a 10 oz. torpedo sinker. tshaffer used a 7 oz. lucanus jig in orange.

as soon as i hit the bottom i got a bite, set it once, got an other bite, set it twice and brought it up reveiling 2 10in sanddab. all day went like this. tshaffer and i both managed a few fish on the lucanus.

this was my take

Thats true but the Crew should have said something about the dab trip and how many hooks you can use.

Oh c'mon no pics of yourself! Glad to see you put the report up. It may not have been exciting out there but it sure was productive. Oh yea and finally got to use that Lucanas jig. It was the only lure that found the sculpin for us.

Hi megafisher94,

Are you done on dabs now this season ?

Good report. thanks. I guess the Sea Angler ought be renamed the 'Sand Dab Special'.

The Sea Angler runs more sand dab trips on the west coast than any other sport boat out there imo.
