I went down to the lake this morning to catch a few more trout before the season comes to an end. This time I decided that i wanted to bring along some bass stuff because i've been seeing the bass going crazy on all the shad in the water. I got there at about 7am this morning and it was pretty overcast and the bass were going crazy on the shad. I threw out one trout rod and then on my second rod i started messing around with the bass. My very first cast with a Shad Rap I stuck my first Largemouth Bass ever at Lake Wohlford(I normally don't target them). It was the best feeling ever. I tried for a couple more hours and had a couple hits but that was it. I didn't catch any trout today but that's ok because the bass made the whole day. I ended up leaving at around 11am. It was a great to be out at the lake. Until next time....
