got the the lake at 630 with ironmachin. great weather, nobody on the lake, and no fish in the lake :Shocked:. we threw the tacklebox at em. we even went back to the marina for NIGHTCRAWLERS!!! only fish caught was across from the marina while trolling rapalas. there was a lot of baitfish feeding. seems like a good sign. i tried to work the edge of a feeding frenzy with a gulp minnow with no luck. well i got the skunk, but it was still fishing.

needlefish on the guitar srting @4 to 6 colors....slow is my goto rig here...Better luck next time. There is one cove there that has 80 percent of the fish right now:)

FTW knows what's up. Fire Tiger Needlefish at 5-6 colors of leadcore were MONEY at Piru last Sunday. Limits for 2 in 1 hour, no joke. We were already driving home by the time the sailboats got on the water, and we barely launched by 9:15AM. Water temp is 64 now which means the trout will start to go deeper. You won't catch many with straight mono right now, gotta use the leadcore line or downriggers.
