Me and a few buddies have been hitting up my local hotspot about two times a week all month and have some beauties to show. The pictures kinda suck they were taken from my phone.

Nice bass! ..but not that big of a deal at a "private lake". Sorry, not trying to be a hater, just being real.

nice fish man..even though its private it still gets hit hard..I've fished it before and i didnt catch those..but i did go huge behind a sick wake!!!

I've fished the exact same lake at the exact same spot. Haven't caught any there that big yet though. good catches!!!!

Very nice bass. im glad to the canyon lake is still hot! Those fish are shad eating machines

thanks guys i was starting to second guess posting the pic's after that first post, but its good to know everyone on his is not a hater.
Those are good size bass, good job! Have you ever tried tossing big swimbaits at them?

Ya Ive been throwing a 5in topshelf shad swim bait its been working good but with all the shad running there keyed in on the real thing. The first time i threw it i hooked up with a 10+ but he broke me off on a rock pile.
Try tossing the Huddleston Shad if the bass are keyed in to the real thing. It is one of the most realistic shad baits on the market. Give some baby bass imitators a shot too, like the 3:16 Baby Bass. It should provoke one of the bass that is looking for a bigger meal to strike.
