Friday evening Duct skunk

So my buddy and I decided to hit the Duct in Palmdale late this afternoon for a little striper fishing. Weather was kind of crappy, windy, a little rain, water couldnt decide what it wanted to do. We threw the book at the place and both of us walked away with a black and white stripe on the back. Traps weren't working, poppers werent working, shad swimbaits werent working. Anyone got any tips to help a new guy out?

Did you try using Anchovies? There work really good.

DaWookie, It happens. I was out yesterday morning and got skunked too. My last outing, a couple of days ago though, I caught 2 stripers. Keep at it and you will get them. The duct puts the skunk on like no other. You are also rewarded with some nice fish when you are on them.

The duct is a finiky stretch of water,,,,,,you,l get HER figured out only if you spend time with HER:LOL:
