I was lucky enough to catch my Trophy Monster Trout this year at SARL on 3/26/ 09. It weighed in at 18 lbs on a digital scale when I caught it. Later on in the day when I weighed it in on the grocery style scale that SARL uses it was 17 1/8. Just wanted to share my Monster with you guys, caught it at sandy beach on a nightcrawler dipped in garlic using 2 lb test.

When i first hooked it, I thought it was a small one because it came straight in, but when it was finally viable it saw the net and took off. I thought I was going to lose it because I had 2lb test on.

I used Nitro Gravy on a nightcrawler, that did the trick!
