It rained, it was windy, and it was WIDE OPEN !
Hit the lake today with a friend that had never Striper fished before. Was on the water a 7:30, first hook up on the troll was 8:15, nice schoolie 3.50 LBS.
Next was drift fishing near Bear Paw, hooked up a biggie, burning drag, and right as the fish came to the boat my friend missed with the net, another scorcher run, S-N-A-P my 10LB Seagur (SP) broke between the hook and the swivel.
DAM DAM DAM DAM this sucker was big, and was screaming drag.
Anyway fished Bear Paw till 3, caught limit of 3-4 lbr. Will try to get pictures from my fishing partner.
