has anyone gone to the salton sea recently?? i am planning to make a trip out there if the fishing is good. any info is appreciated. thanks in advance.

I'm not too sure about now, but I think tilapia fishing should still be good.

the talipia are biting there, but you got to find them...try closer to the niland area...red rock...etc......i wouldnt eat very much of them...theres a food advisory on the sea as well.....wish you luck.....T
