JP, you still make the best reports of anyone on FNN. I was begining to think that Dirtygirl was doing better fishing reports than you, but, now I think I was mistaken. However, you will never be as pretty as her.

Hi Jackpot Jimmy,

Thanks. Haven't seen the kittens as the mother is feral and very skittish if you try to follow her to her little guys.

Ms Yellow Cat got to nice smallish Mackerel one yesterday and one today. Happy Cat !!

Thank you ..... self-satisfying in a way. Those are feral cats so their future is not good. They are now being hidden in a next-door neighbors yard with ms yellow cat commuting to the food bowl. We still consider them our charges.

Ha ha ha .... We had a gopher pop up two weeks ago ...... then cat paw prints all around and then ..... no additional gopher mounds ..... hummmmm

Rent-a-cat might be a great business but ..... just try to catch a feral cat that has evaded capture for past a year and a couple of cat roundups.

Hi sansou,

Thank you as always. As mentioned, some of the calendars are real works of art .... especially the ones done in watercolor and the colored gyotaku. Even within the colored gyotaku there are different styles some exacting some more abstract...... even bordering on the woodblock image. Even the sumiboku style of gyotaku has different styles with heavy or light inking, touchups, caligraphy, etc.

Brought some back from Japan as they were so nice. I hate the more commercialized ones that have a product often superimposed over a photo.

Thanks for the reply. 'Real Pro' Ha ! I'm still getting skunked in the deep water all the time so I'm sure not that hot an angler. Enjoyed your last report with your fishin' buddy on what was a pretty tough, but productive trip. Great to see most anglers out there enjoying the experience but especially cool to watch the ladies consistantly outfish half the boat too. :)
