hit up Lake Skinner to see if the bite was still on, fished the northwest shore for 6 jailbirds.

Sorry for not going into details, Here it is, I was flylining fresh sardines and the other set was a slip bobber with chicken livers, which seem to get the most bites!! I caught a total of 15 fish but let the dinks go, note, most, in fact all the nice ones were females! with eggs in them, only one of the six was a male and it was the smallest of the six. It seem like they would come throught in groups because i would get a double and then they would back off, I metered lots of fish but i know some are carp, because i would see them jumping around, Oh I also caught a catfish around 4 lbs but let him go. here are some pic of last week fishing at Skinner and lake Vail.
