Does anybody know the list of lakes where crawdads are not allowed as bait because of the Quagga issue?

I know DVL is one of them...

Not true I checked with the Marina, and the staff told me as long as the craws don't come in water you can use them. As in if you buy them from a store and take it to DVL with no water transporting them you're good..

They don't allow any live bait, duse to the Quagga muscle deal, Pretty sure if you catch them there, but nothing brought in, I was there the weekend of the trout derby, it was one of the things they asked during he boat inspections, check there website
You don't needem anyway, try fshing some jigs or creator baits

Someone has already posted that IT IS OK TO USE CRAWDADS as long as you dont transport them into the lake WITH WATER! unless he was wrong that seems like the way to do it.

read people.

Might want to look into that, since the inspections went into place you can no longer bring in crawdads from outside sources.

From the Lake Perris Website:

Bait:
Worms, crickets, crayfish (bait shop purchased crayfish only)
Live or dead fresh water fish- only Threadfin Shad from Lake Perris or Longjaw Mudsuckers
Dead ocean fish, lures, and processed foods such as Salmon eggs, cheese baits etc.

You are responsible for knowing and obeying all Fish and Game laws, even if not listed above.
