Went out yesterday with the high hopes of landing my limit. Its been tough lately but I have still managed to beat off the skunk everytime I go out even if its only 1 dink. Anyways went out to the spot around 9am. It was nice and overcast with moderate temps. The water was very clear about 10+ ft of visibility. I started throwing a flylined zoom fluke arkansas shiner color. I found a nice thick grass/weed bed and cast right in to it. First cast I had a nice follower charge out of the cover and take a swing at it. THe next cast into the cover I let it sink for couple secs and started ripping it through the thick cover. Tap, tap, and I set the hook !!! it was on. The rest of day I stuck with the flylined fluke and that was the ticket. I threw my other rod with the D/S for no love but went back to what worked. I would have more pics but my camera died. I managed to land 4 more and lost 2 others. All on the fluke.
