Fish at Skinner all day came up with only a giant bluegill. I was packing my stuff and get ready to go home then I heard my rod fell in the water. :EyePop: I ran to grab it thought it was a striper. Fought with it for about a minute or two then there we go a Giant Bluegill! :Shocked: I never caught it this big before. Although, I caught only 1 bluegill for the whole day but it has made my day happy. :Big Grin: Caught it on Chicken Liver.

Wow! You caught a Coppernose Bluegill! It is a Florida Bluegill where the males get a coppery color on their heads at spawning time. Nice!

Excellence!! What a fine gill that is. Can't wait to try out my new ultra Light set up for them this summer,I just love fishing for them what hard fighters they are for thier size.

No, I didn't release it. :Embarrassed: I thought about releasing it back but it committed suicide as soon as I pulled it out of the water. I guess it felt sorry for me because I was fishing all day and about to go home empty handed. :LOL:

nice size gill!!! pretty soon all the breaders will be gone from there,, anyways it would be a good idea to release some of them who ever gets out----
