Despite the snow flurries all day Friday, Opener Day Saturday was beautiful, sunny but cold (29 degrees). Wind picked up around 10 am but died again for great afternoon fishing. Largest fish in June Lake was a 10 lb 8 oz.
At Lake Front Cabins in June Lake veteran Opener Dave Stephenson had the biggest fish at over 6 lbs. First timer Cody Laux, 10 years old of Henerson NV caught a stocker too.
