How many qts of oil does a 2003 5.7liter mercruiser take, and what type? Also what weight oil?
Also what type of oil filter does it need?

Thanks Nessie for the comeback, a 5.7liter GMC engine is a engine, is a engine whether it's in a boat or a truck, they all take the same type of oil and filter.
