Trek to Slab Beach

Victor101 and I headed up north to try a new beach. Left around 615 and got to an empty beach, no waves no wind. Just straight flat. We walked north for a bit, started tossin the candy bait. I also picked a few sand crabs that were showing. Not one bite so we moved south and found the honey hole.

Big slabs were found. I havent had a fun day like this in the surf in such a long time. Each hookup was a piggy. I ended up with about 10 poich, several in the bigger models. I'm not sure what Vics count was. Hopefully he will post up pics.

You forgot to mention about all the weeds LOL...there was a salad buffet out there today. Still had fun exploring new turf. Cappo had the hot stick today...i only managed to land a couple. Lets do it again sometime soon!
