Nice report as usual JR!

You must keep a notebook handy to keep track of all the fishing stats!

Multi-day fee: thumbs down. PITA.

Hi sansou,

With the internet, I get a break on a number of the stats and can do them beforehand ... moon, tide, UV..... others I just have a routine to keep the stuff in mind. Wind, Tide currents, visiibility, and water temperatures are the nutty ones ....... that stuff is different everywhere you go ... changing every hour of the day !!

I just don't get the multi-day deal !! It only appeared in the booklet this year. I'm sure the time basis they use is 0~24 hour military time so overnighters seem like they are liable to pay the fee !! On this particular issue ...rods out or not ..... going fishing (travel) and fishing is the same to the DFG I'll betcha !! (USCG says overnight boats [or is it technically out past 24 hours] gotta have a relief ticket if I understand it correctly).

If the fee is being charged ... 3/4-day Island freelance boats look better all the time ... if one wants to go the the islands.

Even a sculpin trip looks exciting when JP RON writes it up

Hi DEADROOTS,

You're welcome. It's good not to have to put in the ol' skunk image !!

Hi LIZARDKING1,

Thank you. You know me ..... first it's any finned creature (technical skunk), then it's a real fish (skunk-off), then it's ......... whatever.

You're board name reminds me !! As yet, I have not caught a Lizardfish this year. We used to get a good shot at them down by the East end entrance in the mud. Saw one caught in deep water a month ago but .....

Any advice ?

Await your next report,

JapanRon
