Sups peeps..
Hit Skinner this morning about 9 and rented a pontoon with my girl. Cracked a beer pullin out of the marina and started trolling, one AC plug and one team daiwa suspending minnow.. the water was glass and no boats in sight..Beautiful..No troll fish, so hit the inlet for some baitfishin..tied up to bouy line few bouys right of current and dropped down liver, nightcrawlers, and anchovies..about 30 min and few beers later the liver rod went BENDO! My girl beat me to it and played tug o war with this mean *** striper..soo switched all to liver and nailed 4 more one after another...then NADA, was weird wfo for 10 min then gone.Picked up my girls parents around lunchtime to get in on action, but it was too late.Oh well was fun either way and the stripers were little heavier then the usual schoolies..got the boat back and for whole day ran me 100 bux..well worth it with the awning cuz it was fkn hot..Ill be back soon I love skinner..Clear water, no pressure and big fish!

Thanks for the report and nice fishs.

I have fished several times there. The most stripers are size mini at least under 5lb. The weather was a good time on Barometric pressure about 29.0 falling, the schoolies striper will swim and move every where, but if it is Rising pressure the stripers will go deep in the water.

Again, good job on fishing in the right time, the beautiful day, the water glass, and the sunny.

I like the stringer. That's the way to improvise.

yea tried mackerel, works good for the cats, In front of inlet about 50 yards out theirs a submerged house from when they built the lake its covered in cats, u can find it with a fishfinder if ur lucky but liver seems to be the ticket their for stripers
