Headed up to PVR campground late Wednesday night and arrived around 3am. Had just enough time to set-up tents and catch an hour of sleep before waking up around 5:30 to begin 4 days of fishing and attempting to beat the skunk once and for all. This was my first trip fishing the Owens/PVR and I was excited to say the least. My last two trips up to the eastern Sierras left me empty handed and I had hoped that all my research would pay off this time. My buddy and I drove up from camp and parked at the gate, loaded up and began the short walk up to the damn.

Now I must mention that this was Saturdays catch (these are all my pics). Steve took most of Thursday and Fridays pics which include the 19" 6-7lb Alper I pulled in after a solid 10 minute fight. I'm just waiting for him to send 'em to me. We released quite a few fish as well that were pretty little. Sorry for keeping a few of 'em but there is plenty to go around up there I promise and it has been quite some time since I have been able to taste fresh caught fish!!! Together we pulled in well over 30 fish and by this morning we were both kinda in shock as to the amount of and the quality of fish we caught. I will post more pics as soon as I receive them and give more details on the Alper.
