The duct,,4/18 PM 4/19 AM,,,,With the COOLER pic,,,,KILLING STRIPERS

10 pm last night i got the fever:Wink:,,called GATBLOOD and by 11 pm we were rolling to the duct.

Fishing at the 1st spot by 11 45 pm.

Fished a total of 5 spots before we FINALLY found a school of fish that were actively feeding at the 6th spot
THEN IT WAS ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fished this spot for steady hookups for abought an hr or so till it was time to go .
Headed out of there by 4 am and at home be 5 am with a cooler of fish.
This cooler shot was of the last 6 caught that were legal to fill our limit,s.
all total
6 or 7 released
6 kept
Myself ,,gatblood and a friend did all the catching but GATBLOOD definately had the hot hand with the silver HUSKEY JERK lure
I caught mine on the SMITHWICK RATTLING ROUGE
Friend used rat trap for his.

GATBLOOD HOOKED A PIG!!!!!
But in the fight his reel broke when the line spooler on his level wind quit moving back and forth and his line spooled up on 1 side of his reel and got all bound up,,,,then S N A P:Crying:,,,The 15 lb P line let go!!!!OUCH

Nice slay! I had an exact situation a week and a half ago. I hooked into a decent fish and my reel started winding on only one side and trying to mess with it, my fish got unhooked. I feel the pain and can sympathize.

Awesome Post TB..... That looks like alot of fun. I went out yesterday for nada. Maybe I should have went out last night. I still have not located a school of those wolves this year in my area. Great job on the slay. Sounds like dinner will be set for awhile.

We found the fish at your farthest north spot at the gates.

check out all the monster carp at the canal where glen had that giant follower,,,,there were dozens of thelm up on the surface where the water enters the duct,,,most easily 3 feet long ,,,,wish they had been stripes,lol
