Got a late start and didn't get on the water until noon. My son and I drifted at the southern portion of the lake for a couple of dinks and then threw the hook. The wind was crazy, switching direction every 5-10 minutes.
We had a good group come under the boat and stayed with the boat for about an hour before the school moved on. The hot tip was to leave a fish hooked and in the rod holder while trying to get another one going. The two of us had many triples doing this! Kind of like fishing dink dorado.
Kept a dozen small fish, about 1-3 pounds for a fish fry. No photos, as you all know what dink stripers look like.
They kick you off the water and have to be on the trailer by 5:00 p.m., so it was a short but fun afternoon.
