I was the sixth boat in line on Saturday at 5:15AM. I fished the southwest end of the lake for about two hours catching and releasing two small LMB using a Texas rigged 6" watermelon chart. Zoom lizzard.
Then I moved to the point just west of the marina. Seng suggested I drift this area using cot chovies. As usual, he was right. I broke off one good one, it might have been a cat. I was using 4# test on a ligh/medium action rod. It woked out real well because the other fish I caught were small.
All in all it was a good day. It's good to see people once again catching fish at Skinner. I ran into a guy at the dock as I was pulling out around 1:30. He said the afternoon bite has been better than in the moring. The heat and 7 hours in the boat were enough for this day. I will admit I was tempted to gp back out, but I had already given my remaining chovies to a couple of guys fishing from the shore.

Thanks again Seng.
