Many Fins Wish Skunk Upon Me NPH 4-18-09

[Santa Fe Eric]

Many fins wish skunk upon me,
Splash saltwater in my eyes so I can’t see,
Setting the hook is what relaxes me,
These fins trying to take my rest away,

Trying to own through this wet jungle,
Like a saltwater Jim Rome,
Nothing but Jerk Shads & Zoom Flukes
Go big or go home!
Old men on yachts, looking like George Seagal,
I drift in the folding boat, looking for legals,

I drift right over her, shaking my shad,
My weight slide across her forehead,
Making her mad!
When she took a snap at it - - - she felt real grown,
When she fully committed----my pole bent, reel moaned!

The way she shook her body I knew she was 22,
But I couldn’t bring her face to color,
What could I do?

I tightened down the drag,
And pulled back hard,
She then did a milk shake and showed me why,
All the boys launch in her back yard,

But I remained focused on the law,
Trying to see her ID card
I got a sneak peak at the girl who engulfed my new penny,
Knowing I had to let her go---- she was only twenty!
I said I’ll be back girl,
When you come full age,
Switch to 3 inch grubs for a couple a Spotties
Who were full of rage,
Chewed up my finger,
While I removed the hook,
Dropped her back in the bay,
Before their picture was took!

I wake up at 0400 to get my freinds out to an early start in the Harbor and then I find out that you were there also but I passed you spot in the dark giong both out and into the ramp.

It must be nice to wake up and enjoy the Pancakes and Bacon before you go out and catch some Pancakes!:ROFL::ROFL:

Funny, because I tried to do it without gloves today and I couldn't hold the spotties long enough for a photo because they were killing my thumbs. I know, I'm a big Wimp:Razz:

Funny thing is I thought about PMing you to see if you were going, but I didn't think you fished Santurdays. It would have been great to be able to check in with someone I know on the water because Kev was out of town and I had no one to check in with.
I did not get on the water until about 1:00 in the afternoon. I literally slept til 10:00 and then had breakfast!
