View Full Version : Massive Team Panfish Slayage!! 4.18.09 Early AM

Met up with a couple panfish fanatic to try out a couple new spots....got to the lake at around 430am and it was still pitch dark...with our flashlights in hand we took a one mile hike up and around the mountain to try a spot we been hearing so much about...got there and for the first hour it was very slow but it picked up big time right before the sun rise...it was nonstop action for about 2 hours straight...only keeping the bigger ones we ended up with a whole mess of slabs...it was a pain carrying it back to the car but it was well worth it...we all forgot the camera in the car so we ended up taking pictures in the parking lot....here are the pictures:

Go team panfish! Nice slayage. Hope to go fishing with ya'll again soon, it's only been two days since my last crappie bite and I am going through withdrawls. :)

nothing get wasted....there were 6 of us that went fishing and when u spit them up its not much...lol

That's sick! Best eating fish out there, except maybe rock cod. I can't catch 'em worth a darn, but I get one every now and then.
