I was at baja fish gear over the weekend and they had some pretty good used stuff there. Have him talk to Sammy or Matt down there and I'm sure they could put together a setup that will fit his budget.

Local and island fishing its what its mostly for. 12-25lb rod with a size 30 reel i think is what he needs
