Got to the lake at about 9:00am. I parked at the end of the last parking lot and started walking up the little trail that starts at the swim beach and takes you around the lake. I walked for a good 3/4's of a mile and saw a nice little spot that looked very fishy. I threw out anchovies and nightcrawlers for a couples of hour but didnt get one single bite. The stripers and the catfish are not around yet. After Waiting hours for the bite that would never come, i switched to the drop-shot. I ended up getting 3 nice sized trout on the drop-shot including a nice hook-jaw ( sorry no pics this time ).
All in all it was fun. Even though it was windy as hell, it was fun to try a new location on a lake i've been fishing for more than 15 years.
