View Full Version : Duct A.M. Quickie
Was out this morning to kill some time and nothing at the first spot. I hit one more spot and work it for a few minutes and get the hit and hook up on the Trap. This one was down low as I was letting the lure sink and was in a retrieve off the bottom. Made two decent runs but nothing like a DD. Your average Palmdale area 6 to 8 lber. Now off to Universal Studios with the family.

Thanks all. It's nice to live only minutes from the duct. I wanted to go out this afternoon but it's too windy. 30+mph with bigger gusts.

A long hike from Tierra Subida by Barrel Springs. It's going to be super windy and cold tomorrow. I would wait for some better conditions since you are coming from so far away.

I've been in bed since yesterday afternoon and battling the flu. Supposed to be nice weather tomorrow and Sat. Too bad everything aches right now. I have not been sick in a few years.

Sucks to be sick Yolo, but you got a nice one before you went down. I live minutes away as well. I need to be more consistent on going and that should make me more consistent on catching like you have been lately. No excuse for me…. I plan on going tomorrow. It is supposed to be nice. I will be helping a friend move on Brisa Ave. on Saturday. Brisa is walking distance from the duct there in Palmdale (Rancho Vista area). Anyhoos get better,,,and congrats on another fine specimen.

thepuma, That's a big hill to walk up to get to the duct from Brisa. Then there is the fence, unless there is a hole in it. Feeling better so I might do another quickie in the morning before we have to drive down to the Valley for a birthday party.
