My PB on Home Opener

Hi Everyone,

Well today was an awesome day. We started the day off by going to the Dodgers Home Opener. They had a big 11-1 win over the Giants and Orlando Hudson hit for the cycle. So the day was already awesome and we haven't even got to the fishing yet.

SO we decided beforehand to make this a monster day and hit up the Surf in LA after the game. We get to our spot at about 5:45pm and I rig a whole anchovy and 4oz sinker on my large surf rod. I get that set up and I begin rigging my other rod w/ perch crack. All of a sudden I see my first rod go bendo, I jump on it but nothing is there. I bait up and make another cast. My rod starts bending over so I tighten the drag and swing. Fish On!! Not sure what it is but its taking some big runs on my #20 setup.

And Here She is my PB Leo. Its actually the first I've caught while targeting such a fish.

What an awesome experience! We also caught 2 dink perch. All were released.

I got a glimpse of the Stealth as it left to the north and passed over my Fire Station in the Mountains! Always awesome to see.

And that flag is awesome!

And to top it off with another beauty of a larger Leo is even better.

I love your concentration in the fight on your first fishing photo!
