Had a guide trip at Perris Thursday with Rick..
He wanted to get out to Perris and do some finesse fishing for some Perris largemouth.
He told me that he hasnt really ever caught many bass, in fact his best day ever was like 5 bass and he wasnt too confident in finesse techniques..
I told him that Id do my best to remedy that problem...

We bounced around the lake to a bunch of my favorite finesse spots and slowly but surely Rick began to get the hang of fishing 5 and 6 lb line and finesse techniques..
In total he caught 20 bass for the day with the biggest being close to 5 lbs...
All bass were caught on plastics in 2-10 ft of water. The big bass of the day came out of 35 ft of water on a secret reaction bait....sorry guys.

Things are starting to change a bit at Perris and the bass are in all 3 stages of the spawn.. Prespawn, spawn and post spawn.

Nice job out there Rick.. Congrats on your new personal best number of bass and your personal best biggest bass.
