ViVa La CAMALU 4/4-4/6 !!! Pics heavy

For all the Drama that everyone is talking about how dangerous mexico.... I'm glad to say that we have a very very safe trip up to baja. No stop by policia...all local pepole very nice and we even stop at ensenada to eat and relax for a bit. Ok on to the report! Left LA at 2:00pm stop by the market for some boxes of squid and off to the boarder..got to the boarder at 5:30 and got to ensenada around 8:00 ate some BOMB A** tacos and had some beers then off to the LUUUUU. got to out hotel at 11:00, woke up next morning 45 min late grab our stuff and straight to morenos house and he was wide awake and ready to KILL KILL KILL fish... waves didnt look so bad untill we got far out the it hit ME!! BAM SEA SICK!!! i was a soilder and fished it out still while throwing up between hook ups. Caught Lings,reds,sheeps,browns,calicos,BIG sand bass,bonito,barrys and a bunch of other stuff...got back from fishing around 1:30 cleaned up and had lunch at the pirate ( hotel ) and took a trip to the village and SQ... 2nd day same resualts with no sea sick this time...got to the boarder at 9:00 with no problems and the mexican feds were out in full force!! Very nice thanks for the pics and report i love those parts of Mexico GREAT fishing good food great people. I would like to go down wear you were when the sea bass are on the chew they get the toads 70+ pounders i will be in SQ in late may.

Fishing in camalu is really not that good if you drop down a 20 hook rig you'll only get 19 reds and lings. So honestly don't go there fishing is slow. ha ha

Best part about Camalu is the fact Cal's is just down the road. In the summer time you can have a shot at the tequila bar and talk to Scandinavian granola chicks in bikinis.
