Lake Success

Does any one have any news on lake Success? I rarely hear reports from the lake and I am interested in going up there this week. Any information would be great. I also hope some one might know if they allow float tubes on Success. Anyone intereseted in trying to put the first Success report on the board drop me a line.

last time i drove by it looked like a big puddle. water was way down.

Havnt been there in 4 yrs
but all my previous experiences there was on the f,tube and on a boat.

had alot of success on my tube down by the dam ,ON THE F,TUBE
and also around the marina on the F,TUBE

THE WHOLE LAKE IS OPEN TO F,TUBES

I was there last month. Water is up and clear. Saw a bunch of bed but mostly with smaller males.....

Heard at the local bait shop... a 17 punder was caught there a week ago by a local professional! The water is up under the bridge.

Word is, is that they're on the chew. Last week anyways. A buddy's buddy reported a 30 fish day up in the river area.

yeah under the bridge last sunday was real good.fish were holding tight to the tree's.
no swim bait fish though.

I fished that lake 23 years ago. Rented a pontoon boat and fished all day and slept on the pontoon at night. Fished the next morning. Never got a bite. It was fun Fishing for sure. Lake water level was way up back then. Thanks for the post.:Smile:

Thanks for the help. I will very likely head that way sometime between Monday and Friday if anyone is interested. I have an extra tube but it does bleed down slowly so it becomes a bit of a hassle going to shore evey now and then to inflate.
