I know you may not like the answer but find shelter inside of the Rock walls until the water settles!!!!! You will be amazed what is available for the taking inside!!

The inside of the jetty like insie of the Harbors until things settle down.

There are a lot of recent harbor posts that should get you salivating if you like to avoid the Salad.

yeah i went and hit up 15th at newport today. wind was blowing REALLY hard but i managed to land a spotty on a 2" camo sandworm. also got a couple nibbles on 3" big hammers but didnt hook up with anything.
