I live about 8 miles away from DVL & 4 miles from Skinner. I do not have a boat:Sad:, so was wondering, if the shore fishing is even worth it.

If so, please let me know.

shore fishing is pretty decent at both places from what the reports show.. just depends on what you are targeting and when.

Just called the Marina. Stocking Trout on Friday, so should be decent. I am going Saturday and bringing the bike. 1/4 mile hike all the way in, might really suck!

To N- There's plenty of shoreline available on the north side of the lake. However, over by the East dam, they have eliminated a majority of the shoreline fishing area due to the dangerous terrain. You'll be able to target LMB, stocked trout and an occassional striper if your there early enough. The stripers will be in chasing the stockers, so may land yourself a nice size one. Just make sure you have the right equipment and lure presentation.........
