Any hikes around Bishop?

My buddies and I are heading up to Bishop next week for a few days of fishing and R-n-R and wanted to know if there are any cool hikes in the area??? Maybe some with some fishing along the way???

Lots of places to hike but due to the snow...dunno where you can go!

You can hike up the Gorge above PVR.....that might be your only bet this early in the season. Fishing is still closed in all of the high country areas north of Independence.

There is more hiking than you'd ever want in the Bishop Creek area - but that won't start till the snow melts in the higher elevations - mid to late June/early July usually.
