Well let me make it clear that I will not disclose my fishing spot just for the sake of lake. I will though discuss the details about how I caught the bass and gear. Here goes nothing hit the local lake at 8am in search of early bluegills, but alas it was not to be. Instead my hunt for bluegills led me onto bass fishing. By 10 I was still feeling th damn itch of skunk, but some helpful anglers informed me on some pretty nice areas for the little bucketmouths. I patrolled the whole lake looking for bass, but only had 3 strikes. Of the 3 I managed to land one one 2lb test. The good part about that was this bass gave me plenty of oppurtunites to stick him. The bass did throw my hook the first time I hooked him, but came right back for my white saltwater tipped with a piece of crawler. The whole day I saw many large bedding bass possibly in the 4lb range, but no takers.
