Hit up big bear today and arived with lines in the water at 7. Wind was howwling throughout the lake especially past windy point (yaaaa thinkk). Went with my pops and his cousin and they both had a blast catching lil cats with nightcralwers.
For anyone who wants to have fun with they young ones take them to big bear slap on a crawler and toss it out near and around windy point, they will have a blast with the lil cats, its pretty much non stop.
Back to the story....
Few people showed up around and i thought to myself "wow big bear lake really isn't big enough". Some guy asked if we were leaving i said not yet and so he continued to move his things RIGHT NEXT TO me...keep in mind the whole shoreline is clear as far as my eyes can see. For once I thought id play nice and i packed my shiz up and left. It was way to windy to stick around and were weren't catching anything besides those cats.
Hit up the dam and the ticket seemed to be crappie jigs fished super slow also slip bob with crawlers AND egg =)...
I am surprised at the amount of snow that still exists.
