dropped the boat in at noon , headed out a little west from Long Beach, caught a few bass and two legal butts and one short. biggest 41" the other @ 30". All fish caught on rapalas .

I use a 3 way swivle with about a 3-5' leader to the plug, almost like bounce ball but no flasher. don't have to buy bait.

Looks like the Big Halibut are moving in following the grunion I thought my 33'' was big that one is a monster.
