First things first , IT WAS COLD up at Big Bear lk. today , air temp. with wind at about mid 30s - low 40 . Water temp. being important was only 47-48 deg. We trolled the observatory area hard for just 2 strikes all day , alot fish seen but just a little to cold still . we got 1 bite on a worm and another on a needle fish [ rainbow] at 3 colors lead line . we tried flat lining and even a little deeper , we talked to a troller and he caught 1 fish on gold needle fish [ 3 colors ] in observatory area . we saw no one else catching . cruised west to metcalf bay and again saw fish on sonar but nothing , ha It was fun anyways for sure , theres always next weekend .http://i599.photobucket.com/albums/tt74/db_bucket_photos/IMG_0812.jpg

They'll bite soon for ya! Just a couple more degrees and the trolling will be good. Good luck, Scott

Steve,
Looked like a nice clear day up there, I look fwd of heading up there as soon as I get off my buns and do a break job on my truck. Whats up with your Deep-V Rig?, good to see you on the water again.
