Camping and Fishing Near Santa Barbara?

Any recommendations on Camping/fishing in this area. Planning a camping trip @ the end of April??
I was thinking Cachuma, but it looks super busy on this particular weekend.
Looking for Crappie, or trout, or anything I can throw in a deep fryer or on the grill...

Gotta stay close to SB so I can drink some of the awesome pinot noir around SRH.

We spent a week at Lake Santa Margarita last year. Loved it! We brought the bass boat and bikes. Well worth it.

If you stay at the KOA campgrounds there is a BMX track for the kids.
