Went out and had decent action on the tube wednesday....fish are starting to move in closer...upper they are on beds but the goon with the water continuing to come in the temp keeps fluctuateing and they are still not committed to spawn...maybe a bed here and there from what I hear...b ut not full blown by any means. Saw WOODY as I have named him...a woodduck I believe...hops on tubes and boats...its hilarious. I got a pic of him chillin with a buddy on his tube. I caught 4 fish smallest at one pound and the biggest at 2.9....noit huge but great action for 3 hours after work.

I think Woody is a Mandarin Duck.

Man those pictures are alike....he looks like both the Mandarin and the wood duck...well to make his name cooler we will still call him Woody....I really dont feel right calling him "Mandy" lol

In the meantime, I'd love to hit up the Lagoon tomorrow for the derby but $40 is steep and I don't stand a chance to win.
But hey post a report...I'd be interested to see how everyone did.

Actually the tube I got from you is my back up tube now or a spare. I have been having trouble in the wind since its so high profile.. I bought a Fishcat as well. Hey are you gonna work the FOCL DERBY?
