Hit Cachuma Weds, water temp 59-62, lots of male bass up on the beds. Hooked a few early on a crawdad crankbait and a jig/craw, then more throughout the day on roboworms. Probably caught and released about 15 total all day fishing with Exfactor. Biggest about 3lbs, most about 1.5 - 2.0 lbs. Nice healthy fish. Lost one nice big smallie under the boat as it shook its head that probably went about 3lbs. Great fighter......Had to call it quits about 4pm, as my Minn Kota trolling motor finally came apart. Looks like duct tape can only hold together the power-head of a trolling motor for about 8 months! Cheap fix and parts are on the way. Anyway, great day of fishing. Thanks to Exfactor for taking me up there and learning me some good tips and tackle rigs.
