Irvine Limits

Okay, I know this topic has been discussed, but I need to clear it up once and for all.

With one permit, can you catch 5 trout and 5 crappie or bluegill? Or, is it one permit= 5 trout or 5 crappie/bluegill?

I do believe it's 5 trout and a TOTAL of 5 crappie/bluegill combined.
Kind of silly, I think!
If Irvine is going to set such ridiculous limits, it should be 5 crappie AND 5 bluegill.

To answer your questions.

You can take up to 5 trout or a combo of five trout and catfish. (example). 4 trout, 1 cat.

And

you can take up to 5 crappie or a combo of five crappie/blue gill. (ex)
3 crappie & 2 blue gill.

If you go over on any of the combo's, then you must purchase a second limit pass.

Kinda glad you cleared that up. The last time I was there, I bought a pass for me and for my woman who was supposed to show up a little later. She had to cancle... I caught my limit but I kept fishing cause I had her pass. Glad to hear it was legit... ha ha
