Went to the upper from opening - 11am. Threw out the Castaic swimbait trout. Saw one cruiser close to shore not chasing anything, just slowly swimming. Threw the swimbait about 10 feet behind him and reeled in real slowly. He turned his head, swam towards it, and......and......and......swam away. Other than that, had the bait pole in the water with chovies at all times. Got a pretty good tap right before I left on the chovie but it was a false alarm. Didn't see anyone hook up or even get bit today. The winds last night effed things up.
